Project description

How quickly does the motivation for a subject adjust to a certain level during the first weeks of the studying a subject?

Which characteristics of concrete learning situations are important for this process and how can teachers influence them?

In the Dynamics of Motivation research project, researchers from the universities of Jena and Leipzig are investigating how the motivation to learn develops directly after the first weeks of studying. 

In our current study, we are investigating how first-semester students experience their first semester.
